Echoes in the Dark
Fate, memory and sacrifice.
Echoes in the Dark is an original narrative set in a city that has lived without sunlight for a thousand years. Four figures — the Thief, the Dancer, the Assassin and the Orphan — become entangled in a story shaped by loss, hidden truths and the possibility of change.
Each character carries a different burden. Their paths cross in a world where the past refuses to disappear, and where even the smallest choices may have lasting consequences.
The Sculptures
The sculptures translate the characters and emotions of this world into physical form. Rather than recreating scenes from the narrative, each work seeks to capture a particular presence, gesture or moment of vulnerability.
Expressive silhouettes, restrained details and hand-worked surfaces reflect the tension between darkness and hope. Each sculpture is intended to stand on its own, while offering another way to experience the story.
From Story to Sculpture
The creative process begins with the original narrative and the development of each character's identity. Digital sculpting helps explore proportions, silhouettes and expressive gestures before selected designs are developed into physical works.
Bronze and mixed media offer different possibilities for structure, texture and finish. Hand-sculpting, surface treatment and carefully chosen patinas give each finished interpretation its individual character.
