Thread III: The Flickering Flame

In the space between creation and destruction, Seraphon hovered over the Dual Flame, its embers weakening with each passing moment. The flame had once burned with equal intensity - one side representing creation, the other destruction. Now, the balance was gone, and the fire trembled, as if unsure which force would overtake the other.

Seraphon had lived his life in the shadow of this flame - its keeper, its protector. But in his heart, he knew that he had failed. The worlds had leaned too far into destruction, driven by forces that sought to claim what they could not understand. He had allowed the flame to burn too hot, its destructive power consuming more than it created.

Now, as he gazed into the fire, he saw what he had become - a being caught between two extremes, neither capable of controlling the forces he was sworn to protect.

And yet, he could not extinguish the flame, for in doing so, he would extinguish himself..
