Thread VII: Axorath's temptation

Out of the void stepped Axorath, the fallen god. His form was a blend of shadows and light - a being born of chaos. His voice slithered through the air like a cold wind.

“You see it now, don’t you?” he whispered. “The futility of your struggle.” The guardians remained silent as Axorath moved closer, his presence suffocating. “Your worlds are already dead. You’ve failed them. But it’s not too late to join me. Together, we can reshape what’s left - create something new.

Luma rose to her feet, her eyes fierce. “And destroy everything that came before? No. We won’t trade one destruction for another".

Axorath’s smile widened, his voice a low, seductive growl. “But you already have. You clung to your powers, your dominions, without realizing that it was your very existence that tipped the balance. You were meant to protect these worlds, but instead you drained them.”
